Unit 30: task 2

P2

For the flyer I would use a JPEG image because it prints well as a bitmap type of image and the picture quality can be chosen to how you want it to look on the flyer. A JPEG is a bitmap image which is recognised by almost every computer but it can also be converted into a PDF file which can be veiwed on any computer as it is a flie type that opens with any graphics software and can be converted via photoshop when you 'Save As' and choose a file extention. When the flyer is sent digitally with the images being PDF files, the reciever will obtain the images without a problem whether that is through Word or PowerPoint. On the van I would use a vector type of image so that the vynl can be cut smoothly and put on the van unalike if it were a bitmap - One program for creating vector images is Adobe Illustrator which saves the file type as an Ai file, a PDF, an EPS file and etc... I would use JPG for the website because depending on the picture quality/resolution of the image , you can change how large the file is, so using a JPG image would be the wisest choice as you can have links to a larger version of the image on a separate page.
